Default How is the voice quality on 7130?

Hi, new to the board and very interested in picking up a 7130 today from Verizon. I've been reading *many* posts complaining about the voice quality on other 7100's. For those of you who have already starting using one, how is the voice quality (without headset)?

I actually want a good phone, this one looks like it will handily take care of my other needs as well.

Do a search and you will see that the 7130 has very good rating on its voice quality. I find it one of the best I've used.

voice on my 7105 is great. my buddy has a 7130 and no gripes there either
its the 7100(x) that everyone complains about.

My voice quality is LOUD and CLEAR. I've had no complaints of echo with my Jabra bluetooth headset either...wohoo!!

I am so far very happy with the quality of my 7130. I've had it since it came out on 12/1. It doesn't seem to have the echo's I've noticed with other verizon phones.

I agree. Voice quality is very good.

Does anyone know where the mic is located? I can't seem to find it on the bottom front.

Yup, both of those are the microphones. So far so good...I haven't gotten any background noise complaints with the 7130 as I did with the 7250.

Thanks for the info on the mic. They do a good job as most callers say the voice quality is very good.

Thank you for the replies! I got mine in today, and I am psyched (1st Blackberry phone). While doing the intial demo/tour it had me click in the jog dial and I did. I ended up closing out the tour without completing it.

Where can I find it to run through the demo/tour of my cool new phone? All the help is appreciated.

Nope, refusing to come up after power off/on. I was hoping to drill down in the applications or something to find it.

Have 5 days under my belt with the 7130 and voice quality is good. Is my first BB and it seems to be a little tempermental. i.e. when searching address book, sometimes it does not pull in the first letter I enter. From a utility standpoint, I'm very hapy with the product....just hope it is reliable. Battery life is shorter than expected also. Left my house 7:30 this morning and by 5:00 the battery was gone. Had 1 hr. continous talk then another hour broken into a dozen or so calls.

I have to say I am very happy with my BB. The voice quality is better than I expected, and I am getting a day (24hr period) between charging with light/moderate texting/e-mail use and some phone. I will try the hard reboot to re-initiate the demo a little later. Tonight I am synching it to my tablet.
