Default AT&T 8700c has arrow over signal bars and won't let me scroll.

Please Login to Remove!

An arrow keeps coming up over my signal bars and it will not let me scroll over and I cannot click on anything with the trachwheel. If I do click all that comes up is move icon, hide icon, show all, and switch application. I have to pull the battery out and reset for it to go away. But it keeps coming back. How do I get this sto stop? Does anyone know? Thanks.

The arrows you see there are indications of data activity coming and going from the device.

No i havent installed anything. its almost like it freezed and when the arrow is there it wont let me do anything. for the arrow to go away i have to take the battery out.

I recently did set up my email. do you think its trying to send and receive too much? The arrow does not go away and i have to take the battery out.
