Got the unlock code from ebay and it was sweet.. no hickups and code worked in first try. Called T-mo and gave him the PIN#. Guy said it is the really cool device and T-mo will be getting this in later part of Jan'06. He said they are testing it right now and people would love it.
BB was up and running within 10 mins.
Then I restarted and and BB never came back,, just kept thinking because I made a mistake. I unplugged the BB while it was in the middle of installing my 411 search and yahoo IM. Had to reinstall everything from scratch including handheld sw.
Now finally Yahoo IM and 411 Seach are working fine.
ALso it still says EDGE on T-mo also and to tell you the truth it is FAST FAST as compared to 7290 that I had for about 4 months. Love 7290 so much but 8700 is the deal for speed and speakfone that I use all the times.
