I might get flamed I might not:


2 questions (feel free to point me in the right direction for I am new here)

1. When Replying to a SMS, is there a way to disable that auto-history feature? It is annoying

2. Ive read and read and read about the "D" next to an sms when it is received by the person it is sent to. I go to my SMS/Options and I dont see the option for this....I am on cingular running bb os 4.0? Am i looking in the wrong place?...

Well, the D appears when there's a delivery confirmation... I'm on Verizon and I only get Ds when I text other Verizon users, although all my texts do go through fine...

I am not sure of an automatic way to do it; however, on my 7520 while I am in the actual message click the trackwheel and sroll down to delete orignal text. It will wipe out everything except what you just typed.

In answer to your first question :

From the home screen, go to OPTIONS, then SMS and adjust the value for the "Number of Previous Items:" field.
