Default 8700c and Cryptmagic

Anyone have a problem loading CM into the 8700c? Had it on the 7290 but now I get a Java error on the 8700c. Loaded and unloaded all software, same issue.

Does the Java Error message on the BB mean anything? Trying to see if it is the BB or the download. The CM developer is stumped.

I've gotten Java error messages but it's been with other apps where I've loaded the non-BES version. Once I loaded the BES version, things work fine. Although, it never effects CryptMagic and I don't think there are two versions of that program.

I am not using the BES version since I am not running BES. It is working perfectly. I have several applications loaded.

Default CryptMagic

Just a followup. Had to wipe the BB and reload. Works great as advertised. The support folks were very helpful at Cryptmagic.

CryptMagic is a vault for keeping your credit card, web site and other assundry passwords, PINs, usernames, etc. It is nice and much better than the free "Password Keeper" that comes with the BB in that it has a desktop component and you can make changes on either the handheld or the PC and they sync on the next sync if set up that way. You can also export to other applications. There are basically two such programs for the BB in addition to the freebie and I prefer this one over the other.

Except for the fact that Password Keeper actually gets wirelessly backed up and synced with the BES..which makes all the difference to me...true that it can only be used on the BB and not the desktop.

I can't speak to the BES because I am not on it, however; I would be surprised if it didn't have a feature to allow sync of add-ins like the desktop sync has. I have tested the desktop sync running wireless with Bluetooth and it syncs the add-in applications just fine such as efile and CryptMagic.
