Does anyone know how to differentiate the icons in the message menu between e-mails and text messages, they are the same icon and can be hard to tell whats what when getting alot of messages...

they are all the same indicator. The little envelope. Thus the reason you go to the same place to retrieve all. Hope this helps.

Yes, thank you. But what the thread is questioning is whether there are icons to differentiate between a text message and an email message.

Text messages are yellow, emails are blue...ish.

On the main screen, there is no way. I know cause when the message comes in the sound it plays but if you look at it and there is an envelope you just have to check. Once in messages you can see what it is by color

There is no way to change the colors.... its part of the theme. Are you absolutely sure you are getting SMS messages? If someone sends a text message to your email address it will be a regular email message and not SMS.

That's the problem, I get SMS message from outside my carrier and the e-mails are mixed in and I can't figure a way to filter the messages or the color of the icons. So the long answer is yes I am sure I am getting SMS messages.

Anyone have any new thoughts or solutions to this issue? thanks in advance...

I did notice that the SMS icon is slightly slanted to the right, as the email icon is not slanted, but you can't tell from the main screen. Hope that helps.

does anyone know if a plastic swivel holster exist for the 7100i??. i hate the one that comes with it.would rather have it on my hip ,and i hate the leather ones!!!!1
