Default 7100t T-Mobile Version 4.1 download?

Please Login to Remove!

I noticed that as of 12-6-05, Version 4.1 is available for download and the corresponding 4.1 user manual is available on the Blackberry site.

T-Mobile's download site continues to show 4.0.49 as the latest download available.

Has anyone downloaded 4.1 to their 7100t? If so, were there any problems?

Thx

Are you sure that it is not 4.1 for Desktop Manager?

After checking again, Version 4.1 is for the Desktop Manager. I saw that the 7100t had a new user's manual for 4.1 and mistakenly thought that it was for the handheld.

Wishful thinking and still hoping for access to 128 bit encrypted sites, ie, bank sites. Sorry for the confusion.

The download from TMobile handheld is schedule for the first part of next year. You will most likely see Cingular release theirs first as they usually dont test the beta release to much. At least TMobile does one thing is test handheld software. Now dont get me started again on BIS.......very painful upgrade for the website

See

Hong Kong CSL 4.1

You can download through the Hong Kong carrier's site, delete one small file on your computer, and install 4.1. It works fine, though I'm finding its a little slower/less responsive on a 7100t than 4.0 was.

Does anyone have any screen shots of the new OS appearance and the themes that are on it? I HATE the Tmobile Icon theme that came on the 7100t.

Are you talking about downloading themes from Blackberry or themes that you create in a 3rd party app?

I was just wondering it the themes that come with Handheld Version 4.1 were any different than the List and Tmobile Theme preloaded on the 7100t with 4.0. Just curious to see if the update that hidious Tmobile Theme with the blue background and bad icons.

Default 7100t T-Mobile 4.1 OS

I just finished installing OS 4.1 (4.1.256) from the Hong Kong Carrier, and it works great, although a little slow sometimes. I do have a question though, how can i get rid of the enterprise activation icon from the main menu since I do not use enterprise email.

Any help would be great.

Thank you.

One way would be press the alt key and then trackwheel and hide the app... there might be another way though but I am not sure

That would be the way to do it; after all, it's only been posted here about 50 times....
