forgive me for being a noob.... but i just got the Nextel 7100i and i just want to simply transfermy outlook contacts to the device, i have the USB cable, bluetooth, and the desktop manager all working, just not sure how to tell either outlook or the desktop software to sync....

Click the intellizync button in desktop manager, then click on PIM settings or sync settings, and make sure that outlook is the default to sync with for memos, contacts, etc, etc. Then click the sync now button. I'm pretty sure this is covered in the manual for the device as well, its worth a read as it will teach you a lot about the basic functions of the device.
