Question Reminders not sounding on 7130e

Please Login to Remove!

New blackberry user...have 7130e with OS v4.1

Anyone else having problems with reminders not sounding after they've been snoozed?

Alarms for meetings go off and play the alarm sound I have selected. When I then snooze it, the sound does not play however the reminder will display again on the screen, just no sound.

This has been my one major issue with using this since coming over from a PocketPC device.

Frequently i'm in the middle of an activity and have my meeting reminders set for 10 minutes prior to the meeting. I have missed the start of meetings because after I snooze it for 5 minutes the reminder then never sounds again.

Anyone else having this problem or know how to resolve.

Thanks!

If you notice in the profiles, Reminders (at the bottom) will either flash the LED or will be off. I do not believe reminders can re-sound a tone.

Thanks.....I knew about the setting in the Profiles section.

I guess from my perspective, the LED flashing really isn't much of a reminder.
That would be like snoozing your alarm clock in the AM and having a little light go on when it was time for the alarm to go off again (but not a bright enough light to wake you up). What if you have the device in your pocket?

They ought to issue a quick fix to allow you to also replay the tone you had set originally (Repeat Alarm: None, LED, Tone)

HEY RIM: See above for suggestion for a 4.11 fix or a 4.2 fix!
