Default Document Conversion failure
Help! All of a sudden I cannot download any .doc, or .exe files. The downloading process beigns and then the message "the document conversion failed" comes up. T Mobile and RIM are clueless on this issue. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I had the same problem and could not get a straight answer from TMO despite speaking with a "blackberry tech"

I would check that you have the bberry attachment service book installed on your device...I did

I then did a reset by pulling the battery out and now it works.

I do not think you can get *.exe files on the device. From my experience the *.doc file you can open has to be in non-html text. I can open simple text files made in word but not ones that have html or graphics embedded in them.
