Question 8700 Voice Recognician Software

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know of a voice recognition software package avaialbe to install on the 8700? I had this with my previous device (Mpx220) and it is one of the primary drawbacks I have found switching to this device.

No, not on the device. Do a search and there was some discussion about this a few days ago at most. However, if you have Cingular, you can get Voice Connect. I had it and it works well. The downside is not they charge $5/mo, you get billed for the call from when you connect to voice dial and last I checked, you don't get m2m if you use it.

I'll second Voice Connect as an interim solution until RIM addresses this. It would be really nice to have for all Bluetooth Blackberries.

Is there a good way to get the redial on a Bluetooth headset to always dial *08? I thought that sorting the call log by "most used" might do the trick but it apparently doesn't. Assigning *08 to a speed dial works fairly well...

Wirelessly posted (7290: BlackBerry7290/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Try holding the talk button on your BT HeadSet , I heard some BT enabled cars like the BMW (Late 05?) 06 X Models have some VRS features .
