Default Cheapest No Service 8700c?

Please Login to Remove!

I am out looking to buy a 8700c because (and this is so timely) my 7100v which I have had for about 1 year has begun to get a sticky scroll wheel. SInce I had someone in Germany get it for me I have no way to have it repaired. Anyway I now have a great exscuse to get an 8700c. I am on TMO and intend to stay there. I need to buy it without a service plan. eBay seems very expensive and the cheapest I have found on the web is $450 with free shipping. Then I will have the illustreous ADAM send me the unlock code for $45 and all will be well.

Anyway any better deals out there than $450 for the 8700c without service?

That's pretty much the going rate. On the 7100 scroll wheel you can probably pop the shell and blast the wheel with compressed air. Lint and dust are usually the reason for scroll wheel issues.
