Default Verichat on Verizon BB 7250

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to load Verichat onto my Verizon BB 7250 and it will not seem to load up. I read somewhere on Verichat where it says I must have MDS or Mobile Data Services on my handheld. Does Verizon have this ?? Any help would be great. Thanks.

It works on my Verizon BB 7250. First time it tries to access internet you will need to approve it, but thats it. Does your browser work?

Verichat works on my 7250 also.....make sure you dont have 'force mds' checked in network settings. There are many other IM programs you can try also, Yak-on, IM+, Ramble.

hmmm well I guess I should clarify that the problem I am having is that I am unable to install Verichat onto my BB via the application loader on the desktop manager and I keep getting the message :

No additional applications for your handheld were found

This is after I followed the directions from Verichat and downloaded the 3.6 version of desktop manager with Service Pack 3

ota download is at
www.pdaapps.com/ota/bby_beta/VeriChat.jad

Its case sensitive and just point your bb browser to it.

ahhh thanks so much works great. Now a few things I don;t understand about Verichat. Since this is running in the background, am I going to kill my battery faster ??? Once I recieve an IM, I notice that my red light on the BB starts blinking, how can I stop that ? Could I set it to vibrate if I chose ? Thanks

Ok seems like another issue. When I am signed onto Verichat, my calls go directly to my voicemail, is that how this thing operates ? Thanks
