Default new to BB, just got 8700C, help!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.. just picked up the Cingular 8700C today. First time BB user, so not too familiar with UI and software. I can sync fine via bluetooth to my comp, but I cant get the application loader to detect my device. I have it connected via Bluetooth and USB, but its not recognizing it as it shows only Com1 and Com3 but neither connects. Im assuming I will need to get this to work before I can use any 3rd party software right?
1. Whats a good site to DL software?
2. What are essential programs for the BB?
3. How do I load tones and pictures onto my device?
4. Where can I find a case for the 8700?

Ive used Palm, PPC, and UIQ (P910a) in the past, but never a BB. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, first learn to use the search feature on the site, then read the sticky FAQ threads on this Forum and the General Blackberry discussion Forum, or maybe the other way round. All your questions will be answered there.

Hope this helps.
