Question Verizon 8830 Wireless Update Problem

Please Login to Remove!

This morning I performed what seemed to be a successful wireless update of a replacement Verizon 8830 from .138 to .175.

One issue is now coming to light, I have no space for applications. The handset that the replaced was an 8830 running .175, and I had several additional applications installed. I now only have BB Messenger, Facebook, Google Maps, Google Sync, and SocialScope. All of these are the same versions as before, but I also had Google Talk and a couple others. I now get the message that there is insufficent disk space when I try to install another application. Desktop Manager indicates that there is still 8-10MB available, Status shows the same. Is there a setting somewhere that Verizon may have enabled or ratched down to require more disk space than Sprint would have in their version of .175?

With the previous OS, had you removed any pieces of it? Like the pre-installed wallpapers, voice activated dialing, etc, that you didn't remove before upgrading this time (well, if wireless, then you can't remove them first, I guess).

I have removed everything and more.

And I have also done several battery pulls.
