Default Red Blinking Light

Please Login to Remove!

Hello.
I have had a 8830 WE for over 2 years now and I have always used it with a PC at work. I am now off of work as I am on Maternity leave and I attempted to sync the device with a mac. It froze and the device shut off. It won't turn on and there is a quick blinking red light. I have seen the solution to this problem on this site for PC's but I have not seen a discussion about resolving this problem with a mac. Can anyone help me out? I can't get any of my contacts and I am hoping to contact a number of people with big news soon and I can't get their info from my phone!
HELP! Thanks.

Yes...do an extended battery pull, then connect to the mac. Make sure you connect directly to a mac port vs. a hub.
