I am trying to get an instant messenger program running on my Cingular 8700c. I tried to figure out how to get IM+ on there but to no avail. I will use whatever I can. My computer is a Powerbook and I have PocketMac installed. How do I install the program on to my Blackberry? Any help or links to any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much.

I'm sure you're going to get many replies telling you to use the search feature. However, since you brought it up, I'll piggyback on your post as I'm in the exact same boat.

I do know that there is no application loader for the Mac, so perhaps this is something that can be downloaded OTA?

PocketMac does not have an app load you'll have to find a PC or do you installs OTA (Over The Air) most vendors offer an OTA install of their applications.

I think your only choice is to download the software directly to your BB, I don't think you can do it via a Mac?

Use your browser on the BB and go to the site you are looking at, like
http://www.yak-on.com/download/ and follow the instructions. You can go to their website on my Mac and read the install instructions.

Verichat is what you need. I have the same config. The link is here:

Scroll down to BB version and choose, "Try"

Thanks! Since we're on the topic, how are Verichat IM's "seen" on the network? Are they billed as SMS or as part of the overall data plan?
