I am looking for a 3rd party calendar that I can load onto my 8700c. The "standard" calendar will sync with my work Outlook. I want a second calendar for personal items.

Any suggestions?

You can sync a second Outlook calendar with the Blackberry. The catches are:

1. You must sync via USB.
2. Entries from both calendars will show up in the same place on the handheld.

If a third party calendar app with a separate database exists, it would probably be a better solution for you...

When syncing via the docking station/physical wire....two more more "computer" calendars can be sync'd to the device calendar.

However, when I reset calendar to sync wireless, then EVERYTHING on the device calendar gets sync'd/copied back to the primary/original calendar (outlook in this case) on the desktop/"computer".

Yuck

I don't know. If you don't want to merge the calendars I would consider two devices and keep your personal stuff separate. That's my advise.
