So I got my new 8707v this morning. Pretty happy with it... sure it's a little bulky but it has a keypad that i can ACTUALLY TYPE ON (I really hated my Storm, cant you tell?)

Anyway, popped the SIM in, got it working with SMS' and phone calls, but I can't get my service books sent through, because I don't have any options in my HRT menu to select from, with which to register the 'berry to the 'berry network. Does anyone know a way to retrieve HRTs or is it possible to install them or something?

Do I sense that i've confused everyone that's looked at this?! Haha

Well, someone is confused.

You need to log into the BIS page at Vodafone and enter your PIN/IMEI to get your BlackBerry data plan associated with your 8707v. Once you do that you can then send your service books to that device. If it doesn't then automatically register with the network you can do it manually through HRT, using the Menu key.

Turns out the handset was faulty. When I requested the HRTs it would say 'Message Sent' then i'd never get anything through. I must have done this around 50 times, I went through all of the options and help tips that Vodafone gave me, and even they conceded that they were stumped. So i've sent it back to the guy and he's sent me out a replacement.
