Default Staying logged in to Yahoo

Please Login to Remove!

My old 7290 would allow me to stay logged into yahoo finances/weather even though I exit out of the Mmode browser. My 8700c logs me out every time I exit and I have to relogin. Is there any way to prevent it from timing out?

Thanks in advance for you help!

I have not tried it on my 8700 yet. But I remember this aut logged-in in 7290. Are your cleaning up your browser cache? because browser cache will log you out. Even my nokia phone keeps me logged in .

i noticed that on my switch from 7230 to 7100 (and now the 8700 logs out too). i'm only posting as a top to this thread in hopes that someone knows the answer!
i'm not cleaning out any cache - every time i close and reopen the browser, i'm logged out. i wonder if closing the browser does something about the cache

If you do ALT-ESC, even if your not in your browser, it still shows running in your background. So if you log into yahoo, just ALT-ESC and go back to your home screen before you ESC out. I've done that before and it has kept me logged in. Either way your browser will be running in the background so I dont see it using any more battery than what it normally does. Just a thought though....one other thing I had thought of, which I couldnt find at the moment, I thought there was a setting that you could choose if it cleared your cache when you ESC out of your browser? Not totally sure on the 2nd idea cuz I couldnt find it at the moment but the 1st idea should be good.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/5.1.2.9)

My consistent experience has been that I don't get logged out if using the WAP browser but I do with the others. I have not been able to find a way to change this.
