I've visited this forum a few times before but this is my first time posting. I have a Blackberry World Edition (8800) and I just installed Desktop Manager. I have a sympatico.ca e-mail account that I would like to synch with Outlook 2007.

In the synchronization options, e-mail is not on the list. Does anyone know how I could go about syncing my e-mail so that I can read it on both the BB and in Outlook?

DId you use the Search feature or read our FAQ? We have an entire section of the FAQ devoted to email, both BIS and BES. I suggest that you start there. BlackBerry FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ

Email doesn't sync using BIS, which what I assume that you will use.

First, you need a BB data plan to have email pushed to your BB. Then you need to make sure that you have "Leave Mail on Server" selected in Outlook's Advanced settings. ANd then you need to set up your email accounts in your carrier's BIS.

And if you really need to have it sync (marked read on both when you read it on one) then you need to get a BES or use a hosted BES solution such as exchangemy mail or mailstreet.
