So, first I upgraded from a 7100G to the 8700C in the blue side. I then switched from the blue side to the orange side (for several reasons, such as rollover and Pocket Day Pro works better).
When I did so, I lost the old voice mail number and the new one given by support did not work, so I set it to dial my own number, entering * when it asked for the ten numbers of the party that I was dialing.
Then it stopped recognizing the *. I was then given a new number which worked fine. Then I noticed that in the call log, it no longer showed my number, but it stated My Number: Unknown.
It is set to Show "My Number". Does not seem to hurt anything, but what does that do, and is there a way to get it to show my number?
