MiniRingtone is currently supporting BlackBerry models that can play ADPCM or MP3 ringtones. Most of the 7100 models support ADPCM ringtones but unfortunately 7100i only supports MIDI.

However, we are looking into extending our supports to models that can play MIDI ringtones in the future.

Default Compression?

How good is the compression on this software? Does it make it smaller than 200-300 KB?

Standard ADPCM compression algorithm is used to create ADPCM ringtones. The size of the resultant ringtone is based on the duration of song being selected. The shorter the duration, the smaller the ringtone size.

If there is any idea or information about playing WAV files with 7100i, we are happy to include this into MiniRingtone.
