I Have just acquired a 7290, and i see in the manual that you can use a MICROSD card.

My question is, can a sim card be installed also at the same time

Thanks for you assistance

Jeff

Microsd is a media card.

SIM and microsd are not the same

The 7290 I had many many years ago was out long before MicroSD Cards existed. This is a really old BB. I believe you're out of luck. By the way, I still have it and I do put in my SIM card and play with it about once a year for a few minutes. Still works good.

Good luck....

Don't think you can use an SD in a 7290. MicroSDs did not exist in 2004, did they?

MicroSD cards are NOT supported on the 7290. Internal built-in memory only.

Actually it had a whopping 32 MB of memory, doubling the amount that past models had, and causing quite a stir in the BB community at the time. Words like "revolutionary" were bandied about, and folks dreamed of as yet unheard of capabilities. Heady times indeed!

Oh for the good old days, when BBs were real business devices and we didn't have to worry about consumers and kids and phone junkies buying them.
