Angry HELP!!! MY 7105t just DIED ON ME!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

This is what happened: my battery was low (2bars left) and I was in DE, n i live in Jersey, so i didnt have a charger with me, so i turn off my 7105 and put it in the holster....then i go to watch this play with my g/f, and I pull out my BB n turn it on, but it doesnt come on...so when i get bac to her house, i find a USB cable n charge it with a laptop. An orange light is constantly on, so i figured it was charging....but it still does not power on...then when i get home yesterday, i charge it overnight, n now it still won't power on, n the orange light is just stuck there....what should i do??

Don't panic. If the laptop doesn't have BB Desktop installed, it probably doesn't have the drivers to charge your BB. Get it fully charged and if that doesn't work, re+re the battery.

I'm sorry.

Did the unit get wet at any time? Have you tried to remove the battery, then charge it? The previous reply about the USB drivers not being installed could be the issue. You might download Desktop and install on that laptop? If that doesn't do it, the problem sounds whacky enough that I'd just go to your carrier store and tell them what's up. They can plug it into a charger, troubleshoot it, and give you a new unit if it's really broken.

Pull the battery and re-connect it, if it works let us know. I've had the same problem 3 times now, and someone else reported it.

I'd call in lockline insurance or the warranty exchange for T-Mobile and go through them.

By the way, I don't have the drivers installed on the MAC that I use at work and my 7100g charges with no problem with the USB cable.

Since you don't have insurance on it, then your only option would be to purchase another BB device.

when you take out the batter and then plug in the usb cable does the lcd come on and give you a no battery icon, if not it may be possible it is not the batterry.
