I agree with Rambo. As long as you are doing the basic BB stuff as he pointed out and nothing in the realm of esoteric, then it will be fine. Don't set your expectation to compete with today's newer BBs. It won't even be a close race.

This thing is built like a brick! Now all I have to do is run down to Nextel and get it activated.

I doubt I'll be doing anything more on-line than just an occasional email. Like you say, as a first time user of a BB, this seems to be a good baby-step. The price was right, and thanks to you folks, I've already learned more than I would have with just the user manual.
I might use the GPS, if I can get it configured to work. It appears that this unit was originally set up for enterprise, because when I try to enable GPS, it says my system admin has it disabled. Is that something that could be remedied by using JL_Cmdr to reset to factory defaults?
