On Saturday my 8830 started buzzing for no "apparent "reason

I took the battery out and put it back in - it still buzzed

I changed my profile to "quiet" and "off" - It still buzzed

I let it power down in a buzzing state

I attempted to recharge with the current battery. It would not recharge

I put in a battery with a full charge from another blackberry - it still buzzed

Obviously the blackberry is not in an ideal state

has anyone else seen this?

Any additional trooubleshooting steps or is the phone on its last legs?

Is it a constant buzz or does it happen in intervals? I know if you have BerryBuzz installed unless you turn off repeat notification it will buzz at the predetermined intervals.
