Default "Inject" 5.0 BBM

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Team,

Just looking for confirmation here. Can I take the 5.0 BBM modules from say a 9000, copy them into the OS folder of an 8800 and then install them onto that unit without issues?

Thanks.

The latest os for the 8800, not absolutely sure now, but I know it 4.5. The device has BlackBerry Messenger service but not Internet, so I can't download it.

Not 100% certain but doesn't BBM 5 require OS 5? I know it requires a BB data plan.

No BlackBerry Messenger 5 doesn't require 5.0 os as I have it running on an 8320 and that device does not have an os 5

BBM 5.0 can be installed on your 4.5 OS. Please upgrade from homescreen apps
