Have 8700c OS 4.1 When viewing Java based internet forums I
can read but can't post. When I try to post I get "Java not enabled".

I currently do not have a BES. I have reinstalled the software without
success and, have double checked browser settings, and I am using the
BB browser. Anyone have any suggestion?

I also encounter the same problem when using Internet Browser.

Having the same problem not being able to post on java based boards, but only view. I was able to enable it, but still getting an error message. This happens on both the cingular and BB browser. I called cingular, and they said it was because I wasn't hooked with an enterprise and instead a single user.
Is this so? Can anyone help?

ok, the above post shows I can at least post on this board from my blackberry, and I had registered to post with lap top...so what's up with the other boards? Is it a permission thing maybe?
Is this a java relation problem?

I have a similar problem. This forum is fine, but on other forums it will give me "Incorrect username / password" when I try to login (yes I am entering the right information) or it directs me to a blank white screen which leads nowhere. I'm guessing the white screen might be a redirect page that doesn't execute. It's annoying especially since some of these problem forums are WAP enabled!
