Default Network indicator on home screen

Please Login to Remove! locked the last thread on this one just as I was posting a here goes...

I'm on Rogers...the other day I was in the U.S. on 310-890 in Plattsburgh NY, but the carrier name on the front screen showed up as Rogers. Go figure. I was using the Dimension Icon theme. My BT/HF in the car showed me as roaming. Didn't check to see if another theme made any difference, but under options\network...the carrier name showed up correctly (310-890). Device is in automatic mode for network search.

Not that I care; I know I wasn't on Rogers and was gettin charged up the ying yang anyway...but I found it strange that "Rogers" was showing up on the home screen...or does this indicate that I was using a Rogers partner? Or, is it a bug on that theme?
