i need help getting this back to my bb. the only thing i can do now is email out of my blackberry. I cant recieve any of my pop3 email on my blackberry.

Did you click on Setup EMail Icon and see if you can resend your service books?

Too much mail? Happened to me. My company was cleaning up a database that sends mail to groups when records change and it sent floods of email. Called Cingular and they reset everything.

I hear Cingular is having a problem if you change your account. I don't have any details but have seen other threads here talking about it in the last few days.

I just switched from an 7280 to a 8700 yesterday and encountered the same "Account Suspended" message. I immediately called Cingular and they had me back up and running within 10 minutes. I'm not sure what caused the problem but it was easy enough to remedy.

I've been using my 8700c for almost a month. Yesterday, we add my wife and her Razr to my family plan (nextel contract finally up), and now I get the "Blackberry Internet Service account has been suspended" message.

I called Cingular and they said everything looked fine on their end and had no idea why service would be suspended. I asked for a number for BB support, which they gave me. But....no support on Sunday.

Is there anything I can do today, or am I stuck until tomorrow?

I added SMS messaging to my Cingular BB account on Friday a.m. (they had dropped it when they added the BB unlimited package). When I didn't get any email all afternoon, I checked my account, and saw that I had gotten the "Account Suspended" message. When I called Cingular BB support, they told me that this was a "known issue" and that regular Cingular support could do nothing about it...that they did not even know that halting my email would be the effect when they added SMS. It took them 2 minutes to fix (they said they had to reset the PIN number). Now all is well.

BPDUNSTA, looks like adding your wife's RAZR is the equivalent of my adding SMS...and that adding a new feature disables email. BB support will handle it quick...but as you say "never on Sunday."

All fixed now. A 10 minute call to 800-304-3044 and I was all set. The CSA explained that this has been an issue for a few weeks now that whenever a customer would change their service plan, the BlackBerry PIN would get deactivated. He also said that he saw that the ticket had been closed so this should not be an issue for customers going forward.
