Default Java error on address book

Please Login to Remove!

I've been getting some java.lang something or other error about 5 times a day lately and it won't let me access the address book to make calls or even from within the messages app. It only starts working again after I soft reset.

Kind of annoying. Any suggestions? My last 7100t did this and this is my replacement unit. Fresh install of the os and now this one is doing it.

Try opening each address book entry in your mail client. Check for any entries that don't look right. Delete and recreate the entire entry, then resync your address book.

I've had the same Jave Error problem with my 7100t. It's been strangely intermittent and seemed to be corrected by some OS update about 6 months ago. The only way I found out of the problem before that was to pull out the battery to do a hard reset.

What OS version are you running?

4.0.2.32 seems pretty stable.

Good luck,
-mT
