i have the 7520. i like the email/pin capability but the phone ergo and the functionality sucks. not like hanging up a regular cell phone.???

I doubt you'll see an 8700 from Nextel anytime soon. Why not try the 7100i? I went from the 7520 to the 7100i and will not be going back. MUCH more like a phone, esp. with the green and red phone keys on the front.

well. RIM and Nextel/Sprint may fashion a cell phone to look like the 8700 but there is no chance in hell that Nextel/Sprint will be getting the actual 8700. The reason: Network differences. The physical radios in the units are completely different and are not compatible with one another.
