Question Webmessinger Message Alert - Tones?

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking to import addional ringtones into this very useful application that signals me when I receive emails from specific addresses -- like my boss and my wife -- often confused in real life -- would like to be able to differentiate them on my alerts better that the current stinky selection provided in the application.

Search in the Ringtoes, Theme thread. you will find some site to get tones from as well as how to upload them to your BB.

Are you using Message Alerts? I have not gotten it to work correctly when my 7130 is in holster?

Have you checked your profiles? There are dfferent settings for in and out of the holster.

That's the point. The vibration profile doesn't work in the 7130. Set e mail for one, two or three vibrations and it still always vibrates twice on e mail. When I set Message Alerts for one long vibrate on e mail arrival it works fine out of the holster. But when in the holster, the 7130's inholster profile takes over.

From others on the forum, this seems to be a known bug.
