Ok, I understand that when someone sends me a doc, pdf, or xls email attachment the BlacbBerry can't open it unless I buy software to let me do so. But why can't I just download the file and keep it on the BlackBerry as storage?

Also, and more importantly... When I get an email with a JPG attachment I can't see the JPG. And I know the BlackBerry supports JPGs because I already got a ton loaded on it.

There is a very good topic posted as a sticky on the General Blackberry Discusion Forum. "Update FAQ . . .". It has a lot of links to topics one of which will explain this. I suggest you search the Forums for "attachments", and read through the first 10 threads that come up.

Remember, Search is Your Friend!

Hope this helps.

You can open and view word, excell, powerpoint documents on your BB. You can view them but you can't modify them.
