Default Problem with my Blackberry dialling numbers

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys, well ive got the vodaphone blackberry 7100v or something.
Anyway, i recently went to thailand and used my phone there. ( i live in australia).
Anyway the country code for thailand is +66.
The problem i have is that now im back in australia, every number in my phonebook dials a +66 before every number, so no calls are connecting because the country code for australia is +61.
Is there anyway to fix this at all? its really frustrating.
Its only numbers in my phone book, if i dial the numbers out manually then theyre fine, but contact numbers, no matter how old they are, always dial with a +66.

PLease Help !
thanks alot.

Did you check >PHONE>OPTION>SMART DIALING>COUNTRY CODE

Before you do that, did you change the timezone back to you country.

hey, thanks for the reply...

my model is the 7100V, i dont think it has the 'smart dialling' option.
i can't find it in the settings menu at all.

It is set to my local time zone ( sydney, australia)

Please help me! this is the most frustrating problem and there seems to be no way to get rid of it!

I assume you go into the "options" (wrench icon) from the starting menu -> it is not there

open your "phone" icon first, then open the menu, choose Options then Smart Dialing

thanks for the help though.
Does anyone here with a 7100V have any idea what could be wrong?

Hi, I have a 7100t, but I'll volunteer another menu direction since there are at least a couple of "settings" and "options" menu selections on these devices. In my experience, all the non-Nextel 7100 series phones are nearly identical. I use another skin, so I don't have a wrench either. First, do not go into your Settings --> Options menu where you do get the alpha list you're refering to. Instead, go first into the phone app by hitting the green phone key on your phone, *then* click the wheel and go to down to "Options" on this first menu. You should get another menu with "General Options" at the top and "Smart Dialing" sixth on the list. Clik that and this is where your country and area/LADA codes are displayed. Good luck.
