Default T-Mobile 7290 Freezes and Freezes

Please Login to Remove!

As of mid-morning today (PST) my Blackberry froze for no obvious reason. I rebooted by removing the battery. And it froze again.

So, for a second time, I rebooted. It downloaded 12 of my pending 26 messages, and froze a third time.

On the third reboot, I did a Registration. And I noticed a SMS message that came in at the time of the second freeze.

1. Is T-Mobile doing some odd re-configurations?

2. Is there a Java Blackberry virus out there?

3. Do I need to reset in some way more fundamental than just removing the battery?

I have a 7290 on T-Mobile with BES and BIS using Handheld v4.02.49. I wirelessly sync email, calendar, and contacts via BES.

What gives?
