moved .pst files and now 7100v will not synch
 

Hi,
I moved my pst files to a another partition on my harddrive. Outlook is ok with it, but blackberry / intelllisynch isn't.
at first it didn't find the outlookfolders where to synch to.
I reinstalled desktop 4.0 and 4.1 both were not able to solve the problem.

intellisynch now says that the files is non existent or has a size of 0.
I tried to ad a new mapi profile as suggested in blackberry support site.
that didn't work either.

Before growing grey hairs I decided to call vodafone support (which couldn't help me with previous problems) and the guy on the other end of the phone told me that I did things with outlook that even bill gates wouldn't do. He suggested a reinstall of outlook??

Before doing that....what else can I do? suggestions are more than welcome

I take it Intellisync is pointing at the right folders????

Sound like a similar error msg that i am getting. 02 told me to reinstall outlook. there is a previous corresspondance about this from a guy that had a similar problem because he had outlook 2003 and outlook 2002 on his computer at the same time...do you?

I am pulling all my hair out here - i think it will not let me do it as i have my outlook synced with msn hotmail, and my blackberry synced off the outlook. apparently intellisync doesnt work with hotmail, does anyone know if this is true??

I just moved the files back to the original location and it all works fine now.
I just have outlook 2003, occasionally I synch with yahoo, which also uses intellisync.
But intellisynch for yahoo never had a problem with moving the pst file!
but I am not impressed with the vodafone support for this phone.
I would wait with a reinstall untill you are out of options.
