Here is a ticket I currently have open for our main boss here at work:

"E-mails deleted from Blackberry are not immediately deleted from the Inbox on the users mailbox "

How can I fix this? I dont recall the Blackberry email deletion ever affecting the Outlook mailbox...however, this user wants the Blackberry to delete his inbox email too. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Which version. Only the most recent ones offer full email reconciliation, at least on ours which is Lotus Notes. I think it's 4.0. That did not happen on 3.6.

Have you checked the reconciliation options on the handheld?

Correct. Under the latest version, while in the email screen, go to
Options>->EMail Reconciliation>->
Make your choice whether to detele from Handheld, Mailbox & Handeheld or Prompt,
Wireless Reconcile:On

Sometimes it seems to take a while, sometimes it is just about instantaneous. Maybe someone else knows why.

My understanding is deleting and message status (read, unread etc) takes a lower priority on the server and there could be a slight delay in the bb reconciling. On the message list press in the wheel and scroll to Reconcile Now to force it and you should see the changes immediately.
