Arrow I missed the FedEx

Please Login to Remove!

My new 8700 was suppose to be delivered today. My home office is right next to the front door. I only got up once to go to the bathroom and that is when i guess the FedEx guy showed up. I didn't hear any door bell. I opened the door only to see if they had run up and dropped it like they sometimes do and I see the door note of be back tomorrow.

Arrgh

I called FedEx and they said they would try to get the driver to redeliver. I even drove out in the neighborhood to see if I could catch him. Oh well if this is the worst that happens to me this week I'm happy. I'll set a trap for him tomorrow.

FedEx centers typically have longer hours than UPS centers (at least in my experience). You can ask them to hold it after the driver returns and pick it up in the evening or the morning if you're worries about redelivery. I've done that with FedEx numerous times the same day/evening. It was easier to drive ~20/30m and get something that night than worry about the delivery again the next day. -Pk

Also most FedEx routers are private contractors so they don't want to come again tomorrow so they might even come again today itself. I know FedExguys tried 3 times in one day and I was home for the third attempt

is the fed ex delivering your exchanged 8700c that is being exchanged due to dust or just an 8700 that you've ordered from somewhere?

They just drop them on my front porch and don't even require a signature, which I always wondered about, if someone stole it off the door step, who is Cingular going to beleive?

Oh great, now you aren't going to get any sleep tonight, while you play with your toy.
