8700 Blank screen
 

I tried updating phone now unabable to connect with USB. Have blank screen with occasional red light flashing

I have tried everything I can think of ie. reloading ect. but everything results in not being able to connect to BB

What have you tried?

If it's just a botched install/upgrade, try wiping and then reinstalling the OS.

I advise downloading and installing the device software the old fashioned way instead of letting desktop manager do it automatically over the internet.
