Default 9800 error message

Please Login to Remove!

This is my 1st bb i must say it was breeze to get the handle of it and the phone pretty fast but im very disappointed after 2/3months these "uncaught" message have turned up. Thus slowing down the phone and the loading image in the middle comes to often and sometime more than 20secs. Any help shall be appreciated, i have woken up to this message below this time...

uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_unifiedsearch_lib(222)

What does it mean? how do i get my phone to fully function again before i loose patience with the phone....

I have asked friends and they say to pull the battery out and the sim leave for 30secs approx but no that doesn't help out with anything.

These are tough to diagnose without more information. And since it apparently isn't booting properly makes it tougher.

Did you load any apps or themes right before this began to happen?

You probably need to wipe the device with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and reload the OS (see the yellow sticky at the top of the 9800 section).

Keep in mind that all of your data will be wiped as well.

See if you can get it to boot in safe mode: FAQ: Start Your BlackBerry in Safe Mode (OS 4.6+ Only) - BerryReview
