Default 8700c, T-Mobile, and AIM: Help?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

Just this past weekend I finally fully migrated from Cingular over to T-Mobile. But before I managed to do so, I browsed heavily on thse forums and HoFo for guidance. During the process I stumbled upon a thread which talked about running the 7290's instant messenger application on the 8700c for T-Mobile users.

Thus far Ive managed to download and install the app, but cant seem to get it up and running. I tried searching both sites for the original thread but absolutely can not for the life of me find it again. YES, I did search, quite extensively actually.. but still cannot locate that thread! Help please.

I have Yahoo IM running on my BB8700C and it works fine and to tell you the truth T-Mo will help you to get it working because they are going to charge you for IMs as SMS so they have dollars involved into ..
They will not be line Cingular where they use the excuse for 3rd party apps. let me know if you have any issues.

Are you getting an error message? I have a 8700C on Tmobile and it runs fine.
