I have a 7100t. The trackwheel is so sensitive that it almost acts by itself. If, for example, I have the device in my pocket and the phone rings, the trackwheel will scroll itself to "Ignore" and then disconnect the call. Is there any way to adjust the trackwheel to make it harder to turn?

Yes, I'm sure it's not refurbished. It's a 7100t, which has been on the market just a few months, and mine was an early one.

Defective trackwheel?

Mine is pretty sensitive too. Brickbreaker is almost impossible to play ... for some reason it keeps going into "Pause" mode, and the only explanation I can find is something related to the trackwheel.

A bad batch of 7100's?

I've used 2 7100R's without noticing any problems with the trackwheel... but they do feel cheaper than the other models (but that could just be my mind playing tricks on me again)...

Sorry (somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this)... there's no way to adjust how hard the trackwheel is to turn or click. The problem is hardware related.

Shouldn't that warrant an exchange for a new set with your vendor? My service provider was willing to give me a new 7290 on the basis of "creaky buttons". :D Which wasn't much help as the new one also came with creaky buttons. Design flaw I think. All the 77xx series I saw had marvelous feedback for the buttons.
