Default Are there screen protectors for the 8700?

Please Login to Remove!

Just purchased the 8700. Will most likely carry the unit in my pants pocket, but want something to protect the screen.

Anyone know of a company that makes pre-cut screen protectors?

Thanks!

I carry around the 8700 in my pants pocket as well. I just wrote up a review of the Screenpatronus / Navscreen clear screen protector here:

Cheers, Sabesh.

Do they need to be cut to fit the screen, or are they pre-cut already?

They already come pre cut to the screen size. I use them for my 7290, they are great. Here is the link for your 8700:

Hope that helps!!

I like the invisible shield. Kind of a pain to apply, but once on, I don't think it's coming off.

I actually found it pretty easy. With javoedge or ones that just adhere on without water it is difficult to line up perfectly. With this, because it is wet at first, I was able to slap it on and then slide it around to fit perfectly, then squeege it up to seal it on. I imagine it would've been worse if I had to make the soapy water solution but now it comes in a nice little spray bottle.

The Invisible Shield is the only protection I recommend!!! I have it for my 7100t, Video Ipod, Nano, Casio EX-Z750, and my Nikon D70. It may take a few days to totally work out all of the air bubbles .... but they do have a lifetime replacement. ....and they do come off without damage to the HW ...at least the 1st nano that went bad on me looked good after removal.... unfortunately, after removing the shield, it's trash!

On the invisible shield are you all using the full body protector or just the screen cover?
