Forgive me if this has been discussed before -- I did a search and couldn't find it. Anyway, anyone know if Bluetooth DUN -- or any other way to use an 8700 as a modem -- has been accomplished for Macintosh laptops?

Is DUN officially supported by Cingular or Blackberry? or is it only with hacks?

This is a deal breaker for me -- I am considering the 8700 as a replacment for my Treo 650, but I need DUN for my new MacBook Pro, which should be coming next month. I have used the 650 for DUN for sometime on my iBook for sometime and love it.

THere is no BT DUN of any sort, Mac or PC. BT is used for wireless data transfer (assuming you have handheld OS 4.1) and wireless audio/headset.

There are no "hacks" - that is limited to Palms.

You can use the 8700 as a modem - not sure I'd call it DUN since it is EDGE/GPRS but not sure if you can do that with a Mac. If that's a deal breaker, they you don't really see the value of a BlackBerry.
