Just got a new replacement BB and when typing the keyboard password into the 7100G, I apparently did not do it correctly or forgot it. Checked with Xingular right before departing on a three week trip overseas and they were no help, so now I am stuck overseas with a phone I can not call out on or check e-mail, but can accept calls.

I have used 8 of my allowed 10 attempts, so I am not totally locked YET.

Is there a way I can reset the password without having the password? This is a brand new unit and I am out of country for the next three weeks.

Nope. Go ahead and wipe it. Hopefully you have your laptop with you so you can resync your data.?.?
