We are using the blackberry enterprise package for our exchange server and I want to know if it wise for me to install the desktop software that came with my 7130e? Will it conflict or interfere with any of the settings that are setup on the server? Also, would it give me anything new? For example, would I be able to change even more options?

What are you trying to accomplish? What "options" are you looking for?

The Desktop Manager software is used primarily to load third party applications to your BB, and to allow you to sync the calendar, notes, tasks and contacts via the USB cable. If you are on BES 4.0, you should have wireless sync.
