Default how do i instant message

Ok, i have had my BB for about a month and just added the unlimited data service so im going through setting it up. The guy at cingular says it supports instant messaging. where exactly on my 7100G do i do this from? do i need to download AIM/msn/yahoo ect? sorry im a newb with these.

I have a BB7290 on Cingular. I downloaded IM+ from Shape Services and I can log in to all of them. I think on your BB you will have to download an IM program.
