I have a 7100g, and Xp, says that the device has is not recognized, or malfuntion etc etc, I know software is corrupted somwhere, but where? I've uninstalled BB software, searched everything in the registry for anything from RIM and deleted it, don't know what else to do? Suggestions? Besides, reinstall XP?

finally worked, don't ask how or why but it did..

Did you happen to have the BlackBerry connected to the PC the first time you installed the Desktop Manager. For some strange reason, the drivers dont install if the BB was connected during the install. Go figure.
